The Jetstar Group of Toronto has announced its intention to sell its 50% stake in out-of-home media company Campus Intercept. Jetstar plans to use the funds to strengthen its core business, conduct research and hire new staff. "Since we made our initial investment in 2006, Campus Intercept has grown from a new start-up to one of the largest on-campus agencies in Canada," said Jetstar president Julie Petch. "However, deep engagement and strategic programs for our clients are not purely defined by where the consumers are located. Our greatest opportunity for long-term profitable growth is to embrace all communities, all consumers and how to activate their passions for our clients brands. We see this sale as a continued focus to deliver our unique services of deploying brand engagement strategies that build loyalty, develop brand advocacy and deliver measurable results among youth and young families."
