Corus promotes Carpenter

Corus Entertainment has appointed Suzanne Carpenter general manager of Corus Radio Toronto. She will begin work on Jan. 3, 2011. Carpenter will lead the company's three Toronto stations: Q107, 102.1 The Edge and AM640. She was most recently vice-president and general manager of Corus Radio Eastern Ontario, consisting of CHEX TV and CKWS TV. Prior to that, she was general manager of Corus Radio Hamilton. She has also been vice-president of sales for YTV, W Network, CMT and Teletoon.
