Visa Canada has signed five three-year sponsorship agreements in support of its Visa Infinite brand. The sponsorships are intended to establish a national entertainment program that will provide preferred seating and other benefits to users of the card. The sponsorships also include branding in related advertising and collateral materials. The card is now the official payment card of the Shaw Festival in Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON, Dancap Productions of Toronto, the Luminato Festival of Toronto, and certain productions presented by Tix Corporation, as well as title sponsor of the Canadian Film Centre's Visa Infinite CFC Insiders program. The sponsorship deals were brokered by Wakeham & Associates Marketing of Toronto. "The Visa Infinite Entertainment Platform demonstrates our ongoing commitment to the arts and brings the best of Canadian culture to Infinite cardholders," said Gallant Law, head of sponsorships and brand at Visa Canada. "Through the platform, Visa is proud to provide Infinite cardholders with VIP access to one-of-a-kind events and experiences."
