Quebecor Media promotes Poelman

Quebecor Media has appointed Michael Poelman to the position of sales manager for Sun News, a subsidiary of QMI Sales scheduled to launch in early 2011. Poelman has spent the last two two years as an account manager for the retail sales division of Sun TV. Prior to that, he spent three years managing the sales staff at Blackburn CKNX Radio. QMI Sales handles advertising for the Sun News television channel, the Sun Media newspaper chain, the Canoe.ca website, as well as Quebecors's Quebec TV broadcasting operations and magazines.
