Metroland Media Group has signed an online advertising sales representation agreement with Casale Media of Toronto. Casale will now handle national online ad sales for Metroland's online properties, which include the websites of its various community and daily newspapers, as well specialty sites such as,,,,, and According to the company, these sites attract approximately six million unique visitors per month. This is the first time Metroland has gone to an outside firm to handle digital sales. Metroland will continue to handle local advertising sales in-house. "Casale Media has clearly demonstrated their interest and understanding of how local community reach can greatly increase results for national advertisers," said Mark Rousseau, digital managing director at Metroland.
