Electrolux Home Care Products of Toronto has begun a new advertising campaign for its UltraSilencer DeLux vacuum cleaner. The creative focuses on the low level of noise generated by the machine. The animated television ads depict a character vacuuming during a conversation, while children are sleeping, in spite of an angry neighbour and during a hangover. The effort also includes an online contest component at <http://www.lovetovacuum.com/ultrasilencer>. "UltraSilencer DeLux is about vacuuming that suits your lifestyle," said Navia Sharma, the company's marketing director. "Its whisper-quiet operation is conversation-compatible, sleeping kids-compatible, angry neighbour-compatible and even hangover-compatible."
