Canada Goose readies Street Hockey Day in Canada promotion

Toronto-based outdoor clothing company Canada Goose will conduct a street promotion on Oct. 16 tied to the brand's product placement in the new film Score: A Hockey Musical. The company has declared the day "Street Hockey Day in Canada," and will attempt to break the world record for most street hockey games played on a single day. Consumers are invited to register their teams online at <> to be part of the world record attempt. "Street hockey is a rite of passage for Canadians everywhere, and we think it would be a lot of fun for the sport has a day to call its own," said Dani Reiss, president and CEO of Canada Goose. "This is always an exciting time of year for Canada Goose and we look forward to seeing Canadians pull their nets out onto the avenues and boulevards this October 16." The promotion is being supported by online contests and other social media activities.
