Anapharm hires LXB Communication Marketing

Anapharm has retained LXB Communication Marketing as its advertising agency. The company specializes in clinical study services for pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms. LXB won the account in a selection process involving an unknown number of agencies from Montreal, Quebec City and Toronto. "The decision to consolidate our communications approach with one agency is a major step for us in support of our growth objectives," said Susan Blanchette, head of communications at Anapharm. "LXB really impressed us with their strategic vision of our business challenges and opportunities. We were also won over by their capacity to deploy mass communication campaigns and specialized health marketing using multiple channels." The agency's first assignment was to develop a new campaign encouraging people to take part in the company's studies. The campaign, which uses the tagline "I'm a part of it," is currently underway in Quebec. Anapharm is a division of PharmaNet Development Group.
