International news: New public relations network launches

A new international network of independent public relations agencies called The Global Partnership has been launched. The organization consists of 10 agencies in North America, Brazil, Europe, Asia and Australia. The organization was founded by Treehouse PR of London, UK. According to the group, all the member agencies have worked together informally in the past. Toronto-based Arts & Communications is the sole Canadian member of the group. "To be able to cast a global net while maintaining local market expertise is a requirement to stay competitive in our industry and an expectation from several of our clients," said Charlene Lo, vice-president of public relations at Arts & Communications. "We look forward to collaborating with our international partners."
