Zoom Media buys Fashion Frame
By Adnews Staff
Out-of-home company Zoom Media has acquired full ownership of Fashion Frame, another out-of-home company specializing in advertising displays in the changing rooms of clothing stores. Zoom Media had owned a 50% stake in the company since 2007. The founding partners of Fashion Frame, Danielle Chagnon and Martyne Rioux, will join the management staff of Zoom Media. The operations of Fashion Frame will be integrated into those of Zoom. "We have been pleased with annual growth during the first three years of our Fashion Frame partnership and look forward to building on the solid foundation Zoom and Fashion Frame have created," said Andy Querin, president and COO of Zoom Media. "Fashion Frame has already provided additional exclusive opportunities for our clients to effectively reach their customers and the acquisition was a natural progression for both companies. Zoom is committed to expanding the offering of our newest network. This acquisition together with our existing digital and static networks strengthens Zoom’s position as one of the leading OOH companies in Canada." Fashion Frame's inventory consists of approximately 4,500 displays in 450 stores nationally. No financial details are available.
