Dr. Oetker Canada readies pizza sampling tour

Dr. Oetker Canada will resume a traveling promotion for its Casa di Mama and Ristorante frozen pizza brands on July 1. The initiative, called "Dr. Oetker's Trattoria," will run until early September. Promotional workers in two branded vehicles will stop at community events, retailers and university campuses nationally to distribute samples of these products. Consumers will also be able to enter a draw for free pizza for a year. The promotion is being supported by social media activities. "The Trattoria program is a fun way for us to acknowledge loyal consumers while strengthening our connection with Canadian families who have come to know and love our brands," said Stuart Schneiderman, marketing director at Dr. Oetker Canada. "It is also an effective tool for building exposure and excitement about our Casa di Mama and Ristorante frozen pizza lines."
