Cossette buys Mobilito Technologies

Cossette has acquired Mobilito Technologies, a Montreal-based firm that specializes in adapting content for mobile devices. Co-founder Malik Yacoubi has become vice-president of mobile marketing at Cossette division Fjord Interactive Marketing & Technology. Mobilito's client list includes Bell, Workopolis, Cyberpresse and Mont Saint-Anne. "IPhones, IPads, BlackBerrys and Android occupy an increasingly large place in the lives of consumers and this acquisition is part of that same trend," said Fjord president Pierre Delagrave. No financial details are available.
