PepsiCo readies Gatorade Ambush Tour

PepsiCo Beverages Canada will conduct a promotion for its Gatorade brand this summer called the "Ambush Tour." During the initiative, professional skateboarders Sean Malto and Chaz Ortiz will visit a number of skate parks in Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary and Montreal. The tour will be supported with a website at <> containing a blog, photographs, video and contests. The promotion also includes the sponsorship of a documentary on Canadian skateboarding that will be released in the fall. "We're excited to showcase our commitment to action sports by bringing huge talent like Chaz and Sean to local Canadian parks," said Julie Raheja-Perera, marketing director at PepsiCo Beverages Canada. "It's a great way to show our appreciation for all the skaters who drink Gatorade beverages because they know it will help them stay hydrated and fuelled so they can go all day."
