Canada Dry Mott's begins Canada's National Cocktail Party promotion
By Adnews Staff
Beverage company Canada Dry Mott's has begun an online contest promotion in support of its Mott's Clamato brand. The contest is to find a leader for the brand's purported political party, Canada's National Cocktail Party. The party is in favour of declaring the Caesar to be Canada's official cocktail. The contest is being conducted through a Facebook page at which visitors can register to become a candidate or vote for a candidate until June 11. Leadership hopefuls will then create online profiles and work to attract supporters. The winner will be selected on June 16 and invited to an event in Toronto for the unveiling of a personalized Caesar representing the new leader. The promotion was developed by Commotion, a division of the Veritas Group.
