Groupe Aeroplan of Montreal has introduced a new category of loyalty rewards in an effort to raise funds for War Child Canada. The program, called "Money Can't Buy," includes a collection of unique merchandise that members of the loyalty program can acquire with their accumulated points. The merchandise includes a football signed by Michael "Pinball" Clemmons and tickets to a Toronto Argonauts game, a cymbal signed by Neil Peart of Rush, and guitars signed by members of the band Metric, Jim Cuddy of Blue Rodeo and Moby. New items will be added to the list as the program continues. "We are very excited to offer these one-of-a-kind rewards to our members," said Craig Landry, senior commercial vice-president at Aeroplan. "This new rewards category will give members access to items that they might not be able to purchase elsewhere and ultimately give members more choice when it comes to reward options." In addition, as part of its sponsorship of the Luminato arts festival in Toronto, Aeroplan will offer its members special access to a number of the festival's events and exhibitions.
