Jelly Belly resumes Spin 2 Win contest

The Jelly Belly Candy Company of California has begun a national Canadian promotion called "Spin 2 Win." This is the second year the company has conducted this contest, the winner of which will receive a trip to California and a tour of the Jelly Belly factory. The online contest, located at <http://www.jellybelly.ca>, is supported by an online media campaign on Facebook and the Microsoft Drive Media Network, along with in-store materials. "Social media is where our consumers spend most of their leisure time and the online component allows us to engage our target consumers on a daily basis,” said Cindy Mayer of Concord Sales, distributor of the candy in Canada. The social media campaign will also support the a sampling program for the launch of a new flavour later this summer. The promotion was developed by OptiCom InterActive of Oakville, ON and will run from April 1 to Sept. 31.
