Chatelaine adds staff

Chatelaine magazine has appointed Claire Tansey to the position of food editor. She was previously the food editor at Canadian House & Home. Prior to that she spent four years as head chef of the President’s Choice test kitchen at Loblaw Companies. Catherine Franklin has joined the magazine as style editor. She was most recently the beauty and health editor at Elle Canada. Prior to that she oversaw the beauty and fashion section at Wish magazine and was the fashion director of Fashion magazine. Laurie Jennings has joined the magazine as health editor and managing services editor. She was previously senior features editor at Canadian House & Home. She has also been managing editor at Wish, Canadian Family and Gardening Life, as well as custom projects editor in the healthcare and financial services group at Rogers Publishing. In addition, Sandy Kim has joined Chatelaine as art director. Alicia Kowalewski has been hired as deputy art director and Erika Oliveira has been appointed consulting creative director.
