Central 1 Credit Union hires Noise Digital

Central 1 Credit Union has retained Noise Digital of Vancouver as its digital agency of record for the cooperative advertising program of the Credit Unions of BC. Central 1 is the the central financial facility and trade association for the BC and Ontario credit union systems. Noise won the account in a competitive bidding process involving an unknown number of contenders. The agency will work to raise awareness of the credit union brand amongst 18- to 29-year-olds in British Columbia, beginning with a marketing campaign in the fall. The campaign will likely include social media activities, out-of-home advertising, and various online programs. The campaign will also include new television commercials created by Wasserman & Partners Advertising. "We were looking for a partner who had demonstrated success in delivering a digital strategy to this market," said Martin Reed, director of marketing and creative services at Central 1. "What pleased us about Noise is that they really challenged our idea of what digital could be and they are stretching us in a new direction."
