Canadian Living debuts new design

Canadian Living magazine has introduced a new visual design with its April issue, along with the new tagline, "Inspiring Ideas for Everyday Living." The rebranding extends to all Canadian Living properties, including its print edition, website, mobile service, social media activities, events and sponsorships. The initiative also involves a content extention, including a CBC television program called Best Recipes Ever. The redesign work was performed by GWP Brand Engineering of Toronto. "Our strategy was to invest in our key brand and rethink our existing business in order to maximize opportunities and gain market share," said group publisher Lynn Chambers. "We've committed to a major re-launch effort and we're communicating these changes to our advertisers through an aggressive business-to-business campaign that includes print and web advertising as well as an agency guerrilla-style marketing blitz." Canadian Living is published by Transcontinental Media.
