Canwest promotes redesigned

Canwest Global Communications has redesigned its automotive website The site offers purchase and ownership information on various vehicles, as well reviews and tools to compare prices in a given geographic area. New features include videos from the Driving Television show, a vehicle recommendation tool, and improved search functions. The redesigned site also includes new advertising and sponsorship availabilities. "What differentiates from other automotive sites is its ability to attract people who aren't specifically looking for automotive information but are drawn to it through our rich content channels across the Canwest Digital Network," said Ray Philipose, vice-president of strategy and product development at Canwest Digital Media. The new site is being promoted with a marketing campaign using the tagline, "Smarter Buyer. Better Car." The four-week campaign includes print, television, online and out-of-home advertising, as well as social media activities. The creative features themes of nostalgia and the emotions attached to a first car.
