Cochrane introduces new marketing strategy

The Town of Cochrane in Alberta has introduced a new logo and marketing strategy, developed by Twist Marketing of Calgary. The logo consists of a mosaic pattern in the shape of a horse and rider. The town's new marketing will seek to promote Cochrane to new residents, businesses and visitors. The new visual identity will be used by the town's communications, economic development and human resources divisions to promote Cochrane as a site for future economic growth and development. "What this plan does is take our past, respect our heritage, and give us a go forward point," said Cochrane Mayor Truper McBride. "We are a very different community than we were 20 years ago or even 10 years ago. We need to be able to demonstrate the mosaic that makes up Cochrane. We need to be able to visually demonstrate our diversity, our creativity, our ingenuity and our innovation."
