Toronto-based out-of-home media company Onestop Media Group has launched a new service called Onestop Residential. The service consists of digital displays in the common areas of high-rise residential buildings that will display advertising as well as messages to tenants from landlords and property managers. "The days of sending millions of flyers, week after week, to high-rise buildings, without a viable alternative, are numbered," said Jake Neiman, executive vice-president and chief financial officer at Onestop. The company plans to roll-out this system to several hundred buildings in the Greater Toronto Area during its initial phase, followed by an expansion into other Canadian cities. According to Onestop, Shoppers Drug Mart and Rogers Communications have entered into long-term advertising agreement with the company to make use of the system.
