Toronto-based specialty channel W Network has redesigned its website at <>. The site now offers additional original content and a number of new features to allow visitors to customize their experience. The layout of the site is based on six areas of content: beauty and style, relationships, shopping, home and garden, money and food and health. The site was designed by Dashboard and developed by Edentity. Both firms are based in Toronto. "The redesign of not only allows for a deeper user engagement among our audience, but provides our advertising partners with more innovative opportunities to connect with our online users," said Shelley Findlay, marketing vice-president for women's specialty television at Corus Entertainment. "This site is a great complement to our experts-focused on-air programming philosophy and provides another platform for our experts to share more in depth expertise, tips and lifestyle information that our viewers and users are looking for." W Network is promoting the new site with a contest called "Reward Yourself," conducted in association with telephone service provider Yak Communications. The winner of the four-week contest will receive $25,000.
