MyScreen Mobile signs agreement with Claro Brazil

Brazilian cell phone operator Claro has signed an agreement with MyScreen Mobile of Toronto to deploy MyScreen's mobile advertising system in Brazil before the end of the year. The MyScreen system delivers screen-based advertisements to participating cell phone customers at the end of each call. Customers receive loyalty points that can be redeemed for services from Claro. "Claro subscribers will benefit by receiving free services while receiving ads and special offers from the brands they love," said Claro Brazil CEO Joao Cox. "We see this innovative partnership including subscribers, advertisers, Claro and MyScreen as a first step towards ad supported services at Claro." Claro is the Brazilian subsidiary of America Movil.
