Wind Mobile gains five agencies

Globalive Wireless Management has hired five agencies to support its soon-to-launch wireless carrier Wind Mobile. AmoebaCorp has been retained to creation a visual identity for the brand and its packaging, merchandising and facilities. Breakhouse has been hired to design the brand's retail locations. Narrative Advocacy Media has been hired to provide public relations, strategic communications and social media counsel. Starcom MediaVest Group has been retained to handle media planning and buying. Trapeze Media has been hired to construct a website at Windmobile.ca and to develop digital marketing communications. These firms will work in association with Wind's existing agency, Clean Sheet Communications. "Each agency we've selected to join our team has a proven track record of creativity and innovation supported by exceptional people who are ready to help Wind shake up Canada's wireless industry," said Ken Campbell, CEO of Wind Mobile. "Our team has been impressed with their comprehensive understanding of our business objectives and creative aspirations and we are more than confident that together we will produce some exceptional integrated campaigns that will inspire and entertain Canadian consumers." Wind Mobile is expected to go into operation in late 2009, offering voice, text and data services.
