Carleton University begins student recruitment campaign

Carleton University of Ottawa has begun a marketing campaign intended to attract prospective students. The initiative began on Sept. 25 at the Ontario University Fair in Toronto. Attendees were invited to step into a wind booth and attempt to grab a ticket from amidst a cloud of textbook pages. Participants who found a ticket were entered into a draw for a trip to visit the school. Print and radio advertising as well as social media activities will roll out over the next several months. The campaign was developed by Zulu Alpha Kilo of Toronto. "The booth in front of the convention centre is only the beginning of a multi-media campaign designed to highlight Carleton's unique educational offerings," said creative director Zak Mroueh. "Once we learned about some of their ground breaking programs, we knew that any campaign for the university had to be just as innovative."
