Whirlpool Canada begins Time Capsule campaign

Whirlpool Canada of Toronto has begun an online campaign to promote the 150th anniversary of its Inglis brand of home appliances. The initiative is based at a website located at <http://www.inglistimecapsule.ca>. Visitors are encouraged to submit suggestions for the 150 most important Canadian items of 2009. Public voting will take place from June 15 to July 15. Voters will be entered into a draw to win one of 10 Inglis appliances. The promotion was developed by Harbinger. The website was constructed by Bing Creative. The effort also includes media relations, in-store materials and advertising on the company's Gardiner Expressway billboard in Toronto.
