Toronto-based UpTrend Media has signed an online advertising sales representation agreement with Everyday Health Network, a US-based company that operates websites offering consumer health information. UpTrend will now handle Canadian ad sales for these sites. "This deal affords us the opportunity to target people in innovative ways by giving them expert guidance and daily tools to help them learn health, lifestyle, fitness, and medical interests," said Duke McKenzie, president of UpTrend. "Moreover, we have the opportunity to provide targeted content and integrated opportunities such as sending dedicated sponsored emails to over 100,000 Canadian email subscribers. Furthermore, Canadian advertisers will now have access to some of the best online health brands, such as WhatToExpect.com, JillianMichaels.com and DrWeil.com."
