ING Direct breaks banking fees awareness campaign

ING Direct of Toronto has begun a national social media campaign intended to raise awareness of banking fees. The initiative, developed by GWP Brand Engineering of Toronto, includes a new website at <>, newspaper advertising and a presence on Twitter. Part of the campaign is a blog by ING president Peter Aceto which addresses the issue of banking fees. "This ad isn't leading up to a sales pitch," said Aceto. "We just think that the subject of fair fees is more important than it's ever been for Canadian savers, and it's time to talk about it."
