Kraft, TSN ready Kraft Celebration Tour

Kraft Canada and TSN are preparing a joint promotion called the "Kraft Celebration Tour" to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the sports specialty channel. During the national initiative, the TSN program Sportcentre will broadcast live from 10 communities between August 22 and 31. Communities can enter a contest at <> to become a broadcast location and to win $25,000 in community improvements. Twenty finalists will be selected by a judging panel. Online voting will determine the 10 winners. "TSN's 25th Anniversary is a tremendous milestone both for the network and for Canadian television in general, and much of our success over the years can be attributed to the millions of sports fans who've remained loyal to TSN since we went on the air in 1984," said Phil King, president of TSN. "The Kraft Celebration Tour provides TSN with an extremely rewarding opportunity to give back to the communities that have continuously supported us with their hometown athletes and commitment to sports in Canada." The tour will be promoted with a marketing campaign on TSN and RDS broadcasts and websites, as well as through other CTVglobemedia properties. In-store displays will be placed in grocery stores nationally. A Facebook page will also be created.
