HGTV promotes cottage programming

Canwest has begun a spring campaign for specialty channel HGTV to promote its programs Sarah's Cottage and Disaster DIY: Cottage Edition. The campaign, which uses the tagline, "Your Favourite Hosts are Heading to Cottage Country," began March 23 and will run for four weeks in Toronto. The initiative is aimed primarily at women between the ages of 25 and 54. It includes transit advertising, newspaper and magazine ads and online promotion. The channel is also promoting Disaster DIY in Vancouver with a four-week campaign consisting of out-of-home, radio, newspaper, television and online materials.
