Molson releases new Canadian ad

Molson has released a new ad for its Canadian brand as part of the ongoing campaign "The Code." The commercial, developed by Zig of Toronto, has been posted to the website. This is the third ad in the campaign, which began in early 2008. "This marketing campaign reaffirms Molson Canadian's place in Canadian guy culture, and aims to exemplify the values of the young Canadian guy in a heroic way," said David Bigioni, director of brand marketing for Molson Canadian. "This latest spot takes a light-hearted but insightful look at the DNA of Canadian men by highlighting the unwritten codes that are undeniably Canadian, but often unrecognized." The ad is being supported with print and online materials. A fourth commercial will be released in late April on national conventional and specialty television stations, supported by an outdoor campaign in western Canada. Media buying is being handled by MEC Global.
