Kraft Canada conducts Sweet Suite Showdown

Kraft Canada has begun an online contest promotion called the "Sweet Suite Showdown" in support of its Kraft Dinner brand. Teenagers are invited to submit a photograph or video of their bedroom via the website <>. Four winners will receive $10,000 bedroom makeovers. Ten finalists will be selected based on the quality of the submission and the perceived need for a makeover. Online voting will then determine the four winners. The contest will close on Dec. 31. The recently-launched site is intended to provide teenagers with an online forum to discuss fashion, music, sports and Kraft Dinner. Registered users can collect points to win prizes through games, polls and quizzes, or by uploading content. "Teenagers today live out their lives online," said Valerie Lemant, senior product manager at Kraft Canada. "It's where they hang out. We want to be their destination of choice. When they aren't hanging out in the virtual world, teenagers spend a lot of time in their bedroom, a space they can personalize. The Sweet Suite Showdown can help them create a spot that reflects their interests and makes a statement about who they are."
