Forest Products Association hires Communications Meca
The Forest Products Association of Canada has retained Montreal-based Communications Meca as its public relations agency of record for Quebec. "Their strong experience with stakeholder and media relations as well as their understanding of the issues and provincial landscape uniquely positions them to help us achieve our long term communications objectives in Quebec," said Andrew Casey, vice-president of government relations and communications at the association. The association represents Canadian wood, pulp and paper companies nationally and internationally. The association's public relations in the rest of Canada are handled by Laura Balance Media Group of Vancouver.
