Clover Leaf Seafoods breaks new campaign

Clover Leaf Seafoods has begun a new advertising campaign promoting the energy benefits of its products. The campaign, developed by Doug Agency of Toronto, consists of television and magazine advertising, along with sponsorships and online materials. The creative uses the tagline, "Clover Leaf provides energy. What you do with it is up to you." The TV commercial depicts a woman who begins to dance while riding on the subway. "Most women and families are looking to eat a healthy diet that leaves them with the energy to get through their busy days," said Peter Clarke, marketing director at Clover Leaf. "Our research on the creative revealed that women love the commercial because it reminds them of times when they were young and carefree. It clearly communicates the energy message, and does so in a very engaging, likeable and entertaining manner." Clover Leaf Seafoods is an operating entity of Connors Bros. Income Fund.
