Burlington Mall readies 40th anniversary campaign

Burlington Mall of Burlington, ON is preparing an advertising campaign to promote its 40th year in business. The creative features various Burlington residents born in 1968 who entered a contest earlier this year. The winners were selected based on their photographic submissions and involvement in the community. "We wanted models who share Burlington Mall's vibrant community spirit to be the face of our birthday year," said Jennifer Christodoulou, the mall's marketing director. "These ladies exemplify community involvement and prove that 40 is fabulous." The campaign, which will begin on May 12, consists of print, radio, transit and in-mall advertising. The models will also be featured on the Burlingtonmall.com website. The initiative was developed by Adcom Communications of Oakville, ON. Media and public relations are being handled by The Idea Workshop of Toronto.
