The Power Plant promotes fundraising event

Toronto art gallery The Power Plant has begun a new consumer advertising campaign promoting its upcoming fundraising event Power Ball 10. The campaign, consisting of newspaper and outdoor advertising along with other promotional materials, was developed pro-bono by Smith Roberts Creative Communications of Toronto. The creative combines imagery of art with imagery of partying. One ad depicts a man waking up in bed with a sculpture. Another shows an unconscious party-goer who has become an art exhibit. The third shows a man urinating on an art installation resembling a urinal. The ads use the headline, "The Original Contemporary Art Party."
