Travel Industry Council of Ontario hires Larter Advertising

Toronto-based Larter Advertising has been appointed agency of record by the Travel Industry Council of Ontario. The assignment includes marketing strategy, brand development, media planning, measurement, and creative development. "We looked at several agencies but went with Larter because they understand the complexity of both our business and our mandate," said council spokesperson Michael Pepper. "Plus they presented an innovative and creative concept that will reach a higher proportion of Ontario consumers." The council is a not-for-profit corporation that administers the Ontario Travel Industry Act, which governs approximately 2,700 travel retailers and wholesalers in that province.
