Beer maker Lakeport Brewing has signed an agreement with Insight Sports of Toronto to be the official beer sponsor of the 2008 WFN Tour Bass Championships, a series of five Ontario fishing competitions. Lakeport will be the exclusive provider of beer to the events connected with the series. The company will also receive television exposure through coverage of the tour on the World Fishing Network specialty channel. "Together with Insight Sports, we look forward to working closely with the WFN Tour Bass Championships to help build this property into an exciting and entertaining summer event that all fans of competitive sport fishing can enjoy," said Tom Rolfe, brand manager at Lakeport.
