New campaign promotes Edmonton to Toronto students

The Edmonton Economic Development Corporation and the City of Edmonton have begun a marketing campaign aimed at 300,000 students in seven Toronto post-secondary schools. The campaign, called "Succeed Sooner," promotes the advantages of a career in Edmonton. The initiative was developed by DDB Canada of Edmonton. The campaign makes use of promotional workers on school campuses, as well as special events called "Ed Parties." A website has also been constructed at <http://www.succeedsooner.ca> to provide information about jobs, housing and quality of life in Edmonton. The campaign also includes the use of social networking websites.
