Colour introduces social media practice
By Adnews Staff
Halifax-based Colour has opened a new social media practice. The division will work to involve its clients in online discussions about their products and services through social networking websites such as Facebook, MySpace and YouTube. Its services will include public relations, marketing and internal communications. “Whether it’s in personal blogs, networking sites like Facebook, user-generated sites like Wikipedia, video sharing sites such as YouTube or simply through comments placed on news aggregate sites like Digg, there are conversations being had that could seriously impact your organization," said agency principal Carman Pirie. "More than ever, it’s important to not only be aware of those conversations but to also contribute to them.” In conjunction with the launch of this practice, Colour has formed an association with Radian6, a social media monitoring firm based in Fredericton.
