Probec to become Gesca Media Sales

Montreal-based advertising network Probec will change its name to Gesca Media Sales on Jan. 1, 2008. "For many years now, we have been offering advertising representation services through a network of daily and weekly newspapers," said company president Jean Durocher. "Now that these publications have been brought under the umbrella of Gesca, our advertising network will change its name to Gesca Media Sales as it continues to offer access to more than one and a half million readers across Quebec every week." The company sells advertising for La Presse, Le Soleil, Le Nouvelliste, Le Droit, La Tribune, Le Quotidien, La Voix de l'Est, Voilà and a number of weekly newspapers.
