Bayview Village Shopping Centre begins holiday campaign

The Bayview Village Shopping Centre in Toronto has begun a new advertising campaign called, "Hautest Village for the Holidays." The campaign includes print ads in the Toronto Star, Toronto Life, Post City, City Parent and the North York Mirror. Other elements include email ads, banners on Sweetspot.ca and an online contest for a $5,000 shopping spree. Also, direct mail will be distributed to 130,000 high-income households in the city. "The tonality of the piece picks up where our fall campaign left off," said marketing director Melissa Evans-Lee. "The mannequin that was central to our fall marketing efforts has morphed into an über-glam snowgal. The net effect is a piece which creatively reflects, with a playful sense of humour, the breadth of product offering available at the centre." The campaign was developed by Mamone & Partners of Toronto.
