New creative director, interactive managing director at Young & Rubicam

Toronto-based Young & Rubicam has appointed Bill Parker vice-president and creative director. He will be responsible for creative direction on accounts including Wyeth Consumer Healthcare, Colgate-Palmolive and the Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership. Parker has previously worked at Ogilvy & Mather and Bensimon Byrne. Michael Shostak has been appointed senior vice-president and interactive managing director. He will lead the interactive staff and work with the interactive groups at VML, Wunderman and Mediaedge:cia. Shostak was most recently a consultant. Prior to that, he was executive vice-president and managing director of Arnold Interactive.
