ConAgra Foods Canada begins NHL Family Breakaway contest

ConAgra Foods Canada of Mississauga has begun a contest promotion in association with the CBC and the National Hockey League. The contest, called the "NHL Family Breakaway," will promote the company's Orville Redenbacher's, Chef Boyardee and Pogo brands. To enter, participants must submit a family hockey memory and a family photograph. The entries will be judged on "family focus and enthusiasm for the game," according to the company. The grand prize is a family trip to any NHL game of the winner's choice in North America during the 2007-2008 regular season. The contest will run from Oct. 6 to Dec. 15. "Hockey moments can happen both on and off the ice and with this new campaign we are asking Canadian hockey families to celebrate those memories," said Robert Visconti, brand manager at ConAgra Foods Canada. "NHL Family Breakaway is a campaign that connects great food, great sport and favourite memories into one."
