Holt Renfrew breaks launch campaign for Vancouver store

Clothing retailer Holt Renfrew has begun a newspaper campaign to promote the opening of a new flagship store in Vancouver. The campaign, created by Zig of Toronto, uses the tagline, “More space. More designers.” The creative consists of illustrations of models done in the style of architectural blueprints. Four executions have been developed; two promoting women’s items, one promoting men’s items and one promoting cosmetics. The ads broke on June 2 in the Vancouver Sun, Ming Pao Vancouver and Sing Tao Vancouver. The campaign will run for four weeks. Media buying was handled by Initiative. “The creative for the ads features the best in fashion and architecture through surprising, fun creative and supports the vision to launch our new store in an innovative way,” said Caryn Lerner, president and CEO of Holt Renfrew.
