York Region hires Larter Advertising

The York Region Economic Development Office has hired Larter Advertising to develop a new international branding initiative. Larter won the account in a review process involving an unknown number of contenders. The assignment includes brand positioning and creative. “Branding a region is a completely different animal from branding a tangible product,” said Patrick Draper, spokesperson for York Region. “It requires a deeper, more intellectual approach. That’s why we chose Larter. They have the skill set.” The Economic Development Office markets York Region to businesses in Ontario and the northeastern US.
