Stratford Festival hires Karacters Design Group

The Stratford Festival of Canada has retained Karacters Design Group of Toronto to conduct a rebranding program for the theatre festival. The assignment includes a new brand identity, positioning and creative platform upon which to base marketing communications for the 2008 season. Karacters won the account in a competitive review involving an unknown number of Canadian and American agencies. “We’re impressed by Karacters’ passion, creativity and expertise in recreating brand identities in Canada,” said Rachel Hilton, the festival’s director of marketing. “Together we’ll create a fresh, new branding program that will continue to position the Stratford Festival as the must-see classical theatrical experience in North America.” Karacters Design Group is a division of DDB Canada.
