Youthography forms Y Syndicate

The owners of Toronto-based youth marketing agency Youthography have formed a new agency group called the Y Syndicate. The group also includes two newly-formed firms: Riot Event & Sponsorship and District Lifestyle Marketing. Riot is an experiential agency specializing in sports and entertainment marketing. District specializes in lifestyle marketing to “urban key influencers.” The Y Syndicate owns all three agencies. The group has also opened an office in Los Angeles to service the US market. Youthography president Max Valiquette has been appointed president and CEO of the Y Syndicate. Rick Tremblay, director of account services at Youthography, has been appointed chief operating officer. Mike Farrell, director of research and strategy at Youthography, has been named CSO of the Y Syndicate. Jeff Roach, managing director of Youthography, has been named vice-president of marketing strategy at the Y Syndicate. He will oversees the marketing agency operations of all three firms. Sean Claessen has been appointed creative director for all three agencies. Christina Badame-Verdurmen has been appointed director of experiential marketing at Riot. Kalynn Crump has been appointed director of lifestyle marketing at District.
