Whirlpool holds Dream Laundry Room auction
By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based Whirlpool Home Appliances has begun a promotion involving the auctioning of three “Dream Laundry Rooms.” The rooms, created by Canadian design firms Blazysgerard, BiglarKinyan Design Partnership and Jxo Interiors, make use of various Whirlpool laundry appliances. The installations are on display at the National Home Show in Toronto until April 22. Canadians can view the rooms and place auction bids online at <http://www.whirlpool.ca/dreamlaundry> until June 15. The proceeds from the auction will go to Habitat for Humanity Canada. “We know that today’s laundry room is used for so much more than just washing and drying clothes. It’s the hub of a lot of household activity,” said Warrington Ellacott, senior marketing manager at Whirlpool Canada. “We hope the Dream Laundry Rooms inspire Canadians to re-imagine and reinvent their own laundry space.”
